This Privacy Policy explains how Global Secure Vault Logistics Ltd. ("Global Secure Vault Logistics", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data under the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and applicable international privacy laws. It is maintained by Global Secure Vault Logistics and reviewed annually.

1. Data we collect

We collect contact and business information you provide when requesting a quote, tracking a shipment, submitting a contact enquiry or engaging our services. For active shipments this includes shipper and consignee identification, cargo descriptions, and delivery addresses. We do not collect payment card data directly — payments are processed through regulated financial partners.

2. How we use it

We use personal data to fulfil our contractual obligations (planning and executing shipments), to communicate with clients, to comply with legal and regulatory duties (customs, sanctions screening, tax) and to protect our operations against fraud, loss and security incidents.

3. Legal basis

Our legal bases include performance of contract, compliance with legal obligation, and legitimate interest in operating a secure logistics business. Where required by law, we obtain explicit consent.

4. Retention

Shipment records are retained for a minimum of seven years to satisfy tax, customs and audit obligations, and longer where insurance or regulatory duties require. Marketing preferences are retained until withdrawn.

5. International transfers

As a global logistics operator, personal data is transferred internationally between our regional hubs and partners under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent regulatory instruments).

6. Your rights

Where UK GDPR applies you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Requests should be sent to privacy@globalsecurevault.com.

7. Security

We apply ISO 27001-aligned technical and organisational safeguards, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and log administrative actions on our operational systems.
